Our “Rex in the City” Event Series is Back!

Nashville Paw Magazine and Loews Vanderbilt Hotel are excited to announce the return of our “Rex in the City” event series!

Last year’s events were a big hit, although the rain made rescheduling a hassle. That’s why this year’s events are RAIN OR SHINE, with great covered options in case of soggy weather!

Like last year, our 2010 events will help a variety of animal welfare efforts.

June 27 / 11am-2pm

Patriotic Paws Brunch (INDOORS / DOG FRIENDLY!)

Join us for our first event, a Patriotic Paws Brunch, inside the Kraus Gallery in Loews Vanderbilt Hotel! Come celebrate Independence Day with other dog lovers! A portion of the proceeds will benefit our Flood Relief Donation Drive.

$10 cover charge includes:

• Live acoustic performances by Lee Shropshire & Andy Scheinman with special guest Amy Hailstone

• Gourmet treat for your canine companion

• Goody bags & door prizes

• Special prize for Most Patriotic Pooch

All dogs must be friendly and leashed. Brunch menu items and drinks will be available for purchase through Loews.

Tailwaggin’ Tailgate Party

Join us on the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel rooftop to enjoy a tailgate party like no other! It’s a great way to kick off Titans football season with your pooch pals! Enjoy spectacular skyline views, buffet-style tailgate food, refreshing drinks, great vendors and more!

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Brown Dog Foundation’s flood relief efforts.

$15 cover includes:

• Live music from local bands (TBA)

• Doggie splash pools for cool canine fun

• Gourmet treat for your canine companion

• Special prize for Dog with Most Team Spirit

2nd Annual Barktoberfest!

Join us on the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel rooftop to enjoy our 2nd annual Barktoberfest! Last year’s event was such a smash hit that we’ve decided to hold it every year!

Come enjoy spectacular skyline views, buffet-style food, refreshing drinks, great vendors, fall festivities and more!

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Agape Animal Rescue.

$15 cover includes:

• Live music from local bands (TBA)

• Festive, carnival atmosphere with fun games & activities
