Nashville Paw Magazine is excited to announce that we have partnered with Loews Vanderbilt Hotel to bring dog lovers a unique, hip and fun end-of-summer event series! August through October, we’ll be hosting “Rex in the City: A Pooch-Friendly Patio Series” on Loews’ scenic outdoor dining patio, featuring music, refreshing drinks, a special patio menu, fun door prizes, great contests, complimentary gift bags and more.

Pooch pals will enjoy the Gourmet Doggie Bar, filled with delectable treats, as well as drool-worthy doggie dinners courtesy of Rudy Green’s Doggy Cuisine!

We’ll also be raffling off a Posh Pet Set valued at $200.00. At each event, we’ll draw a monthly winner and will draw the grand prize winner at our Barkotoberfest event in October.

Each month, we’ll feature a new theme and fresh surprises, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

As Nashville’s premier pet-friendly hotel, Loews is always proud to roll out the red carpet for our pooch pals, and as Nashville’s premier pet magazine, Nashville Paw is excited to be able to offer local pet lovers and their canine companions a chance to mingle in style!

Rex in the City will offer triple the fun with three great events on one fabulous city patio:

August 20: Ladies Cocktail Night
Girls’ night out has gone to the dogs

Ladies, bring your pooch pals and your girl friends and join us for some fabulous drinks, food and fun!

September 17: Singles Mixer
Meet & greet for single dog lovers

Mingle with local mutt-lovers, connect with friends and have a great time with the four-legged love of your life!

October 22: Barktoberfest
Music, beer, costume contest & more

This great series goes out with a bang in October! Get into the Halloween spirit and celebrate fall with this fun, costume-friendly patio party. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes (both pets and people) so get creative and have fun! Prizes will be awarded for Best Pet/Person Costume Combo, Best Dressed Pet, Most Creative Canine Costume and Best Two-Legged Costume. Plus, enjoy live music, fabulous food, pet caricatures, a “tricks for treats” contest and more!

DETAILS: All events will run from 6-9pm. Cover charge is $10 in advance online and $15 at the door. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Agape Animal Rescue. Agape will also be on site with adoptable dogs to join in the fun!
