Magazine founder, publisher and editor Heather Davis has worked as a professional writer and editor for nearly a decade. Her freelance work regularly appears in national pet magazines such as Animal Fair and Fido Friendly, as well as in a number of travel and lifestyle magazines. Her work is also featured in the hardback coffee table book, "Little Dogs: A Love Story", published by Hodder in 2006.

Heather's experience with animals has included working as a veterinary technician, pet sitter, animal rescuer, fundraiser and volunteer for various animal shelters and rescue groups. She is deeply involved in the animal welfare community and is grateful to share her life with three amazing animal companions: Shelby (a German Shepherd / Collie mix), Molly (a Chow Chow / Keeshond mix) and Smokey, a gray Domestic Longhair cat.
