We are thrilled to announce that our 5th annual fundraiser raised a net profit of nearly $10,000 for the spay and neuter efforts of the Nashville Paw Foundation! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported this fabulous evening of art, wine, food and fun for this vital cause. Please check out our Facebook Gallery for event pics... and we hope to see you again next year!

Each year, approximately 10,000 animals are euthanized in Davidson County alone due to pet overpopulation. Spay and neuter is vital in the fight to save lives, which is why the Nashville Paw Foundation is dedicated to ending pet overpopulation through the funding of effective spay and neuter programs and to promoting animal welfare through positive community education.

We hope that you will support our effort to save lives by joining us for this fabulous evening of local art, wine, food and fun!

On Friday February 10, 2012, Nashville Paw magazine and the Nashville Paw Foundation will host our 5th Annual Art for Animals from 7:00 - 9:30pm at beautiful Tinney Contemporary gallery in downtown Nashville. As a guest, you will enjoy a complimentary wine, beer and soda bar, paired with gourmet cheeses and tempting sweet treats as you browse 36 pieces of original artwork from 24 artists and shop our boutique-style silent auction valued at more than $6,000 to find the perfect Valentine’s Day gifts!

Since the launch of this unique event, Art for Animals has raised more than $23,000 for spay and neuter efforts and has hosted more than 600 guests. The event has been featured as the Nashville Scene’s “Pick of the Week” as well as in Nashville Lifestyles, the Tennessean and the Green Hills News. In addition, it has been attended by everyone from casual pet lovers to art enthusiasts to Nashville-based celebrities.

100% of event proceeds benefit the Nashville Paw Foundation, which is dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation through the funding of effective spay and neuter programs and through positive community education.
