Last summer, we asked you to cast your votes for the best of Middle Tennessee’s pet community. More than 5,000 ballots later, we give you the top dogs and cool cats who have emerged as the clear winners in our 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards. Now that’s something to bark about!

How Winners Were Selected:
Winners in all categories were determined solely by reader votes cast between June 1, 2012 – July 15, 2012. Nashville Paw magazine does not participate in the selection process and therefore does not in any way determine the winners. Winners are determined by highest number of reader votes cast in each category. While Nashville Paw makes every attempt to ensure the reputability of the businesses and organizations nominated by readers, we are simply reporting reader votes and therefore are not officially endorsing any business or organization in these categories.
Reading the Results:
Winners are listed in first, second and third place winners as indicated. In the case of a tie, two winners may share the same placement. The number next to each winner is the total number of reader votes they received. Please note that while some categories may not be directly pet related, we have included them as relevant to our readership (i.e., Best Vegetarian Restaurant, since many animal lovers are vegetarian, and so forth).
